I don't believe in the devil but the only thing that's ever made me question that belief was a story my Granma and my great Aunt told me SEPERATELY. and most recently Hunter's story..
But anyways, my granma and great aunt are sisters and they have a total of 8 brothers and sisters including them. They grew up really poor. They had a single mom who was a schoolbus driver and gave birth to all of them in their shed or her school bus.. At the time, the oldest was my great uncle roger mid/late teens and the youngest was my great aunt Rita (one of the story tellers), just a baby. Well they picked rita up from the bus stop at their mom's bus after school because she drove a different bus route than the one that goes to their home. So they get home and they start doing their chores, cooking dinner, etc etc. They put Rita in her crib which was in Nan's room at the back of the trailer. All of a sudden the back door opened and they all looked. A "hooded black figure" comes in and immediately gives bad energy and scares them. They all hide under tables and cabinets etc but my Granma saw it go in the back and into Nan's room where baby rita was. She said she saw it rock Rita in it's arms back and forth and sung something to her that she couldn't understand. It put Rita back and left right after. My aunt Rita told me that growing up ever since she could remember she ALWAYS felt something following her. She's looked behind herself multiple times and only a couple times has she caught a glimpse of a "hooded black figure." She said it stopped happening once she had children but she still feels weird sometimes.
my other great aunt refused to talk about it when I asked her and I know my granma would never lie to me about that, much less at all. So I definitely believe them.
