I read on another message board that Jessica said in a recent interview in Germany that she won't release any other single off "A Public Affair". Don't know if it's true, but considering how badly this album flopped, I wouldn't doubt she's giving up this time around.
Looks like "A Public Affair" is going to be like her 2nd album. However, that album was stubbed in sales around the time that false rumors were spreading that she lip-synced, which is sad, as it also stubbed her potentially strongest single ever, "Irresistable," @ #14, when I'm sure it would have gone Top 10!!! = ( I hope she doesn't give up. She should at least press on with one more single and see wut happens. "I Belong To Me" was a bad choice, but the song is decent at least.
Its sad ... this album would'ave dont alright if she had just promoted it. She announced the album in June just two months in advance and then does literally NO tv performances for the song A Public Affair and does her tv promo during its release week & her voice was gone that very week. Epic rushed this project too much, they should'ave set her up for alot more appearances and its such an amazing album, its sad that her best album is the one getting overlooked by her image. Shes going to need to re-release this album next year.
Anyways, I dont think Fired Up should be the next choice. If You Were Mine or Lover In Me!
Had she not been retarded and actually released Fired Up (The Demo Version, not the annoying Album Version) first, then she would have had more success.
PA was so girly, immature and just plain annoying.
Fired Up at least had the whole Club Idea, where people won't sit down when they hear the song in a club.
