The mother of a toddler who briefly got stuck inside a running washing machine at a New Jersey laundermat said she wants to press charges.

Speaking on NBC's "Today" show Thursday, Sakia David said she wants her baby sitter punished for allowing a male friend to put the child in the machine.

David said she didn't even know about the May 11 incident in Camden until she saw the video on the news and was contacted by police.
She said her son was treated at a hospital for scrapes and bruises. But she wants more tests.

David said the baby sitter told her the child had fallen down some steps.

Authorities said the man was unaware the machine would automatically start. They've referred the case to child welfare officials.
Shocking video of the incident was recently uploaded to YouTube. A surveillance camera captures a man placing the small child inside the machine.

But why would a babysitter be at a laundrymat when she's watching kids?

Who was that lady with the babysitter at the laundromat?

Babysitting at the laundromat? She better press those charges

The mama could have dropped him off at the babysitter house and the babysitter just decide to wash her clothes and brought the child

I think the lady was the babysitter.The male was probably an associate.This is what I'm thinking.

but I just saw the mother on my news saying she wasn't going to press charges because it was an accident. She was very adamant about not pressing charges. Her mother wanted to press charges on the father though. Now she changed lmao I guess it became too big she felt forced to press charges lol

I thought this was going to say the mother was going to press charges against the laundromat and that she was the lady in the original video. Thank god it didn't because I would've gone off...I think she should press charges, putting your own child in a washing machine is horrendous but putting SOMEBODY ELSE'S child in one?!?!

She must have been ready to POP off. I don't blame her.
