I'm going based on a Magazine Interview she did in March:
In March, she told OK! magazine that she was writing lyrics for her third album, which she called "a little different [from] the last one". It is set for a Christmas, 2006, release, as talked about in her interview with the magazine In Style, November 2006 issue.

Don't think it's gonna happen. She still had one more chance on "Confessions..." but she screwed that up as well. It's sad that her singles didn't do well, but really:
