You can bet Obama's getting MAJAH bank for his re-election campaign from all the heavyweights in NY and LA for supporting this. Not that I blame him...
Thought it was just about the music, I was relieved for a second since I never download illegal music anyway. But I download a lot of tools/add-ons for my software. I'm not gonna get away with this. But it's not my fault, I don't know if that particular software is supposed to be free or copyrighted (Yes, some programmers release stuff on the Internet for free). It'd be great if they could pop a warning page first before you download stuff off the internet if you're not certain about its legality.
Go to Starbucks,McDonalds,& Barnes & Noble and use their free WiFi. ****.
That's what I basically do, lol.
I buy most of my music, but there's some stuff that I can't find anywhere. I also love making mixes, and certain acapellas and instrumentals are hard to come by unless I download them illegally. iTunes doesn't always carry all of that.
So wait, are ISPs going to start monitoring every webpage your IP accesses or something?
Either way I should be fine; I've spent at least $1,000 on iTunes in my life and I have no intention of stopping my iTunes use.
I read somewhere that it works by warnings, if they see you do piracy, you get a warning point. If you do it again, you get another one. If it continues then they have to suspend your internet. Its like the real-life version of ATRL's warning points.
