Discussion: Has Lady Gaga influenced RiRi, Katy, Nicki, Xtina and more?

An interesting article I found from 2011 discussing whether Lady Gaga has influenced a plethora of artists.

From cute cuts and simple makeup to psychadelic hairdos and out-of-this-world attire!

I honestly believe that Rihanna is one of the only current pop girls who hasn't decided to go the Gaga route. I'm happy she kept her own image because I don't think "Gaga" would work for her. As for the others sans Beyonce, yes absolutely.

Look at Gaga's style rubbing off on Katy! Who woulda thought that she'd dress up as an alien for a song about an alien? As for the cheese block I have no comment.

I have always felt like that too. And not because Rihanna is my fave. She just always had her own thing going on and hence received the least comparison to Gaga and the whole "copycat" phenomena. Beyonce tbh shouldn't ever be mentioned. She has no connection to Gaga's style. Like at all.

Rihanna's change seemed inevitable with or without Gaga. Beyonce does her own thing as well.

Xtina has done weird hair, and leather way before Gaga was born. Legends like her influenced Gaga.

Rihanna started her evolution into the fashion icon she is today in 2008 while Gaga was on The Hills.

I can't even imagine Rihanna wearing a green wig or a block of cheese on her head. I feel like she's too laid back to do stuff like that. She probably watches Gaga, Nicki, and Katy and laughs at them.

I don't think she has on Nicki, Nicki would have done crazy **** like that if Gaga wasn't around, she would have in her old stuff if she'd had the option, I think.

Katy, no. She doesn't really dress outrageously that often.

Rihanna, definitely not.

Beyonce, I don't think so.

Christina, idk.

I think styles progress as fashion has progressed, so my vote would be no.
