Absolutely disgusting list. HSM being the top selling album is a shame. I heard Carrie Underwood during halftime of the football game yesterday and she absolutely sucks. Album sales really don't mean much anymore because nowadays there's so much bootlegging and music downloading going on that people don't care about buying an album so this really doesn't prove much.

I hope Britney, Kelly C. or anyone would be able to beat 3 million for next year.

YEAH it does. Despite all the illegal downloading, people are still buying CDs and it's a clear representation of wut CDs are being bought. I'm sure it would be very similar with or without the illegal downloads. CARRIE UNDERWOOD does not suck.

It looks like High School Musical has #1 wrapped up, and deservingly so. But big ups to Rascal Flatts who IMO have the best Album Of The Year with HSM 2nd best. Carrie and Nickelback #3 and #4 are goood too (but that could change). #5-#7 i'm waivering a bit on but all 3 deserve it too (esp. Dixie Chicks with their massive #1 run on VSpot). The only one in the top 10 that doesn't deserve it is Mr. Sexyback.

HSM was sadly an overrated success on Disney's end which will be hell-spawning a sequel. -_-... Hopefully that likely piece of vulger **** will have a degree of sane while actually providing a realistic high school atmosphere.

But I say most of the artists on the list deserve to be on there. I wish Sean Paul, Evanescence, and AAR were higher on the list.
