Alright, maybe if we bring up some topic of conversation, something will start. Sonically, which song(s) do you think best represent the album as a whole? And what about the same question, but lyrically?

Power & Control, Living Dead, and Fear and Loathing.

OMG.. some of the live production is amazing!!!! I love it!

Really? I feel like those two are the least representative of the album as a whole...I don't know why. Lyrically they are great (albeit repetitive, espeically Power and Control), but they kind of blur together for me into one track when I listen to the album as a whole...They mark the "middle of the album" point, and don't have as much as an impact on me as the more archetype based songs like Primadonna, Teen idle, and Valley of the Dolls.

I love Power & Control, and I could sorta see it as being the best fitting for the album musically at least. I think maybe Starring Role is the best song to describe the album as a whole, both musically and lyrically (although Fear and Loathing is probably the best description of the album lyrically?).

I love the poppier tracks like Primadonna for what they are; however, Power & Control and Living Dead really show off Marina's abilities as an artist and as an innovator. They are particularly well produced and carefully crafted, I find myself listening to them more than the other songs. Fear and Loathing is probably the best example of the concept as a whole, sonically and lyrically.

I'm looking forward to hear Teen Idle live

What do you guys expect for her Lonely Hearts Club Tour set list?

I didn't expect a lot of TFJ because it seems like she's completely moved on and dislikes those songs now, but her setlist for that recent showcase thing surprised me...A lot more Family Jewels than I expected, so safe to say it will be a fair mix.

HOPING FOR Lonely Hearts Club and Hermit the Frog

I think the album is best represent by Primadonna & Teen Idle these two really represent the way the album sounds like.Lyrically Teen Idle & Living dead are the best representation ofthe album as a whole.All tracks only become completly understandable after listening to the album as a whole though.

I think that list is way too short, especially for a solo tour. I mean, most artists do more than an hour (I think?) and the only reason Marina would do about an hour for her earlier tours was because she played all her album and one or two new songs.

I'm sure she'll play all of Electra Heart, at least the standard (I'm hoping for all of the deluxe too!). I could see Lonely Hearts Club being the opener for the tour. I could see Buy the Stars being part of the encore?

Of TFJ she'll definitely do Hollywood, Robot, and Oh No! I could also see Are You Satisfied? and Mowgli's Road and Obsessions. Maybe Numb. But that's about it.

This album is AMAZING, it will surely be on my Year-End of list. **** the critics, they're bitter.

This album seriously represents so many things I feel about life right now, it's perfect for me.

I am hopeful she'll perform all of Electra Heart (I really want to hear songs like Living Dead / Sex Yeah live, they'll be so fun to dance to with her there!)

I am dying for her to perform Numb. I really don't know how likely it is though... but I've literally always wanted to hear it live myself.

I am hoping for Teen Idle to be performed really dramatically, a la Guilty :



Also I could see LHC being used as an opener, she already used the instrumental bit as an intro back in Feb before going into Radioactive.

I loved that performance, can't believe I haven't seen it before. I find her little dance when she closes her shows to be quite humorous. Anyway, I'm just hoping her set list includes the deluxe tracks when I see her in Chicago.
