Everything about her than was so cliche, boring and typical. It's not like her sexy appeal had any drastic change. She was never very pretty like Britney, Xtina, Rihanna etc. Everything sounded like Gwen Stefani rejects excluding a few songs. Her outfits were cute and all but besides that everything about her music was so trivial & vain. Her music had no meaning besides the typical going to the club, getting ****ed & boring breakup songs. Some monsters claim to hate Popstars like Katy, Britney, Rihanna etc for that vary reason but Gaga was no different in terms of music.
So why do people want TF Gaga back so badly?
I actually want The Fame Monster Gaga. Something was so authentic and genuine about her then. It was a happy medium, she gave great music with understandable messages behind them. TF was and BTW can be at time. Her writing during TFM was beautiful as well.
Anyways I don't want that gaga back. TF era is just nostalgic that's it. But she's been doing so many amazing things lately with her tour and her message is really getting so much relevancy and there's no denying she has also played a role in that.

Basically, she had fun, catchy music, with quirky yet artsy videos and performances that actually somewhat correlated to her music. Everything just came together so naturally. And she didn't take herself too seriously. She's a popstar, not a pastor.
What she represented back then was so much more fun and relatable. With 'The Fame' she sang about her shameless love of sex, money, boys and the fame.
It was just so refreshing and honest to see from a popstar, people say it was satirical looking back but she seemed a whole lot more genuine to me during that era than she has since. She brought the fun back into pop music and then she took it back
I loved The Fame era Gaga tbh. I could somewhat relate.
Back then,everything that The Fame era Gaga did in terms of music was "fun,light,carefree,and breezy".She still accomplished some of it with The Fame Monster,and even Born This Way(HML,Gov't Hooker).The thing is,as each era progressed,Gaga stopped being the chick with the weird outfits who made party music and gotten a little bit more serious with her music,and took away all her urban influences.People want "old Gaga" back because "it wasn't as dark,serious,or devoid of urban influences" like BTW.
The only thing I miss from that era are the bangs/hairbow and the fact it was a little more clean/put together than her other eras. Like in the BTW/TFM eras she changed looks like every week and The Fame era was a little more consistent in that aspect.
