I saw this, knew someone would post it, I'm not a Beyonce fan but I think she did really well, gotta admit though, It was pretty lame how she almost cried at the end, in her mind I bet she was thinking "I'm really gonna get the Oscar now", but it looks like if anybody gets one, it will be Jennifer Hudson.
ughh...Bee doesnt even think shes gonna get the oscar. She never thot that and she even said it. She said the movie may get it..but she just hope this role proves shes an actress. Beyonce sung Listen in character. Bee probably can since AIITY but it wouldnt be "Effie" like.
AMAZING FLAWLESS, Beyonce has a record contract, Jennifer doesn't (does she?). I don't even know what type of music J-Hud would sing even if she did get a record out (I hope she does!)

Did anyone else notice Beyonce looked like she was about to fall out of her chair during the entire show? She made an attempt at trying to sit like a "proper woman" but she came off seeming peculiar and even retarded, especially with her mouth open during the entire show. Just an observation. :-/

I loved that performance, she never ever dissapoints. To BRIAN did you think that perhaps the reason why she sat that way was that her dress was that short???? And I think the reason as to why Listen was performed was because its the lead single off the soundtrack.
That was good, but this wasn't her most powerful performance. (See the Grammy awards with that ballad performance she did in that picture frame stage setting and the dove flying to her in the end.)
But not only will Beyonce's Listen be a likely contender for taking the Oscar (best song in a picture), she could be grabbing a couple grammies to go with it.
I thought this was really good, but I would've liked to have seen a vulture come to her at the end instead of some wussy white pigeon wannabe-dove picked up on the streets of Detroit.
