I know this is way off topic. But I was watching Animal Planet a while ago and saw this very intriguing commercial for their special documentary which is to be aired this Sunday. it's called Mermaids: A Body Found.
So, I looked it up online to see if it was a hoax or if real evidences were found. In one of their videos, they gave a link to this site. http://www.believeinmermaids.com/ Unfortunately, it was already seized by the US government. What/Who are they trying to protect? What was really in the site?
Ugh, so creepy yet intriguing at the same time. What do you guys think, would Animal Planet sacrifice its credibility for ratings and $$? But how would you explain the site being seized by the US government? Is this all an elaborate hoax?
I'd like to think that I'm a magical person living in a fantastical magical world where dragons and mermaids and unicorns and dinosaurs once roamed the Earth freely.

I think that these kind of documentary are awesome. Obviously they didn't exist, but by the premise of "What if they existed" and even make a doc about it, it sounds great.
Obviously mermaids aren't real but I'm excited. I think these kinds of things are interesting, and sometimes it's fun to let your mind wander during it and believe there could really be mermaids or whatever.
LOL though at how fake the "taken down by the US government" thing is though. Do you actually think that's real!? Why would the US government put something like THAT on something they actually want to hide...
Not to even mention the fact that the picture on the site is called "mermaids_web.jpg"

Yes, I saw this! Their theory of "What if dragon exist?" was actually believable. From the mating rituals to the ability of the dragons to breathe fire and using stones + fire to incubate their eggs. For the whole duration of the show, I thought dragons were real.
I dont believe it. But in the islands they are very superstitious and I have heard many stories about mermaids being in the rivers. They are said to be evil.
