The same themes she loathed back in 2009-2010 (aka just 2 years ago) ?

Nice try little metro monster
people change immensely in 2 years, who are you to use something she said that is old, considering that she has mentioned she is Christian.
and you do know that was around the time of the Fame era, when she would say anything to get people to like her right?
things change, just cause it's not what you have seen before doesn't mean the change isn't there. Gaga wants love and peace and is religious, therefore she is going to sing about it and talk about it. she isn't going to just ignore it now that she is at the point in her career when she can do it and not be totally shot down by atheists and radical Christians and then not be able to recover from it.

Thanks for repeating what Ra2 and Hollywood said before you

He didn't say anything that I said. The only thing merely applicable to what I said was the willingness to do anything for recognition bit. I never said that.
I said that Gaga created an entire persona and album in order to make fun of the popstar. That's why she was so pretentious in her interviews, among other things.
The people butt-hurt and missing The Fame Gaga didn't really understand anything. They didn't recognize her artistry, just lived for the fun, sound, and success. They didn't realize that Gaga was making a statement.
Those are two different ideas, sis, whether you choose to realize that or not is entirely up to you.

What I don't get is why y'all care so much that she made that quote people go back on their words all the time.
Exactly. It's called progression, she may not have felt like she needed to release Born This Way when she made that quote, but she obviously changed her mind.
