Trolls divert online discussions into non-productive, off-topic venues. They pose as part of a community only to disrupt it.
We are “distant” from the person we're talking to and less focused on our own identity. As a result we’re more bent to aggressive behavior.
But I want to know, why do some people feel the need to troll?
I think it is a combination of the first two options. The third one is only true the minority of the time IMO. A lot of trolls know their statements are delusional yet continue to try to tell the masses they are correct, therefore their ideas are actually NOT accepted by the majority.
