My two faves are both known for their amazing dance moves and thin (yet iconic) voices. But who has the edge over the other?

I only voted Britney because she can belt, or at least could.. who knows. I've never heard Janet belt a note. But as far as the way they use their voices technically, they're neck-and-neck. Janet's voice in TTWLG gives me LIFE though.

Britney's voice used to be stronger but Janet is the better live singer.

I agree with the technical argument. I was listening to Janet's Damita Jo album and her voice sounded just like Britney on her ITZ album.

Okay that's the first thing i thought too! But like electro heart just posted they use very similar skills when singing and of course they both sing very sexy songs. So I don't think anyone really copied anyone else.
