I don't doubt that the Beatles were the biggest selling Artists of their time but As it's been stated already. Music rose as a whole in the 80's. Album sales, Single sales, MTV. Michael was just beyond the Beatles. You might wanna say because of the era's they came out in. But it's still true
I just can't..........

The problem is, The Beatles
continued to sell. The Beatles
still sell. Yes, album sales were nothing in the 60s compared to the 80s. The Beatles TOWERED over their contemporaries in terms of album sales. But, even so, they sold the majority of their albums
outside of the 60s.
If anything, this makes it even more astounding that they have sold so many albums. Sgt. Pepper's sold over 20 million copies after The Beatles disbanded. Meanwhile, Michael Jackson was from an era where an album could sell more copies in a year than albums in the 60s could in a decade, and The Beatles have still sold more records. They haven't gone away. Their influence was felt in every decade, and their music continues to appeal and sell in every decade.
