Celeb News: Keys, Stefani for X Factor UK Guest Judge Roles?

Filmed auditions start in Liverpool on Wednesday but bosses are still searching for a permanent replacement for Kelly Rowland after Dannii Minogue rejected a £1m offer to return.

Alicia Keys will join Williams, Stefani and Rod Stewart as a guest judge, The Sun reports.

Williams often performs with the X Factor contestants and last year helped Take That bandmate Gary Barlow at Judges' Houses, emerging in a Sinitta-style leaf outfit.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Nicole Scherzinger have all turned down the chance to be guest judges, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

"At this rate the fourth judge may not be signed until much later in the series," a source said. "Dannii turning them down was a massive blow because as far as ITV1 and The X Factor were concerned it was a done deal.

"The back-up plan is to have a host of guest performers take part in the regional auditions and possible Boot Camp before revealing a permanent name at the Judges' Houses in August. Everyone involved knows how important the judges are to the success of the show.

"Numerous high-profile singers have come forward wanting the job. But bosses fear they aren't big enough names to wow viewers. So it's now panic stations to make sure they can sign up a big enough name in time."

While a permanent judge is unlikely to be found before Boot Camp, former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell and Mel B, The Saturdays singers Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman and Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon are all said to be in the frame.

Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos will return to The X Factor, as well as host Dermot O'Leary.

Why do they want Danii Minogue so bad? Gosh, the US has BRITNEY SPEARS and we being stuck with has beens and Louis Walsh :||

Get someone who has the REAL xFACTOR to judge these auditionees. The looks, The voice, The performance, THE FULL PACKAGE.

Imma need Alicia or Gwen to snatch Tulisa's untalented ass though, and they should remove Louis Walsh and put someone like Matthew Knowles in, he'd pick a winner hands-down!

Actually, Tulisa is the only decent judge there. Who would want to watch Matthew Knowles every saturday night? Whats happening with that girl band he made?

Simon has been too caught up on the fuss with getting Britney on the U.S. version, he completely dumped the UK. This is a mess. Someone needs to be appointed right away. What about getting Ms Dynamite for the role?

The Voice is AWFUL.

The fact they say "The Voice" at least once per sentence makes the show unwatchable alone, never mind the fact that once the swivel chairs bit is finished it's just a sub-par BBC version of The X Factor.

"It's all about The Voice, without The Voice a popstar wouldn't be a popstar because The Voice is all that matters in deciding if someone will be a success or not and if they have The Voice they will clearly be a brilliant popstar because people with The Voice are always liked the most by the public as they love people with a good The Voice"

Times the above paragraph by an hour, add in a bunch of people who would've got through if they entered one of Simons shows anyway (IE Susan Boyle/Mary Burne), take away the sense of humour and epicness that TXF has and then you have an ep of The Voice. I wont even get started on the Judges, the cheesey boxing ring of the battle rounds or the One-On-One-Off format of the live shows (What keeps me watching the show if my favourite is only on every second week?)

Sorry, I had that rant bottled up for a few weeks and couldn't find The Voice's thread to post it.
