Jordis Unga of Rockstar INXS and The Voice fame has plans to release her debut album, but not without asking begging for a little help from her fans…to the tune of $33,000. Why such a large amount? Unga answered that question. “To be honest, it may be just enough to make the kind of album I’m going for. The kind of record that will compete on any level in today’s musical world. Major labels today typically spent around $200,000 just recording the album.” But there’s also another reason why Unga is asking for such a pricey figure. “The number 333 has been following me since the beginning of the beginning, it just seemed right.” …Seemed right to essentially, possibly scam your fans out of thousands of dollars?
