I agree here!!!!
Okay, I'm not even a Madonna fan, but Interscope is dreadful now. It's actually the worst record label of all-time at the moment. It's vile, manipulative, and sickening.
A lot of my favourite artists, such as 50 Cent, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, Dr. Dre, will.i.am, and many others are signed there. The record label does NOTHING for them. They promoted Lana Del Rey like hell, but all those established artists who made the record label millions just get ignored? And even now Lana they seem to have completely abandoned.
LMFAO only got popular by accident. They scored lucky because of the videos to Party Rock Anthem and Sexy and I Know It being so legendary. But Champagne Shower (which features Natalia Kills, yet ANOTHER artist Interscope just REFUSE to promote for some reason, I don't know the **** why) flopped, and so did Sorry For Party Rocking. Interscope don't have a clue.
Eminem does amazing, but it's because he's Eminem. If you actually look at the album campaign he did in 2010 for Recovery, or even the Bad Meets Evil project from last year, Interscope did nothing, and they completely ignore everybody on Aftermath too. Slaughterhouse, ignored. D12 have just disappeared. G-Unit got dropped because they won't do electropop. The Game, people under the age of 18 probably don't even know who he is anymore.
Interscope is awful. It died in 2007. There's only one artist they care about now. They've only got one person on their mind to promote, and they cast everybody else to the side. It's sad. I wish the label would collapse. All my favourite artists would be much better of at Def Jam or Young Money or something.
