REALLY!? YAY!!!!

What's with people (someone in this thread, can't remember who) saying 679 will drop Marina? Why would they? She's not flopping that hard. When you compare her to all the artists in the world who are signed, isn't she doing pretty well? She has to be making money, and enough people have at least heard of her...Why would they drop her?

I do have to say, though, I was a bit confused with my naughty interpretation of the image, why there were such visible ribs on the guy's back. Also, I found it strange that the woman's legs were so skinny. I thought they were supermodel's legs.

She isn't flopping hard. I can only hope that one of her next singles really connects with the public in the UK and that her album sales rebound. For some reason only the Irish seem to be getting it as of right now.

In love with Su-Barbie-A, and I love that it uses the instrumental for Valley of the Dolls (mainly because it validates my thought that the song ties in with the housewife archetype). Although I hope her using these instrumentals doesn't mean that she won't do videos for the songs with those instrumentals... but I'm not sure. Just wanting to see all songs with videos still.

Was thinking ahead a bit about the single after Power and Control and realized it BETTER be Lies. It would be such a great follow up. A vulnerable song to counter the harshness of Power and Control. And it has the perfect pop sound to perform well with the public.

Lies would be great as the third single, I agree.

Plus I would need to see a Lies video. I wonder if the Power & Control video will embody a new archetype... it better be the homewrecker.

ok so i need some clarification, is it "& the", "& The", "and The", or "and the" Diamonds? iTunes and spotify and so many other places contradict themselves.

Even Marina contradicted her own spelling of it.

I'm pretty sure "the" is always lowercase (or at least it always looks better that way). TFJ had it "&" while EH had it "and". I use "Marina & the Diamonds" though and probably always will.

If you believe the TFJ cover or any of the singles from the album, it's "Marina & the diamonds" with a lower case "d". If you believe the "Mermaid vs Sailor" EP, it's "Marina and the Diamonds". If you believe Marina's offical YouTube channel it's "Marina And The Diamonds".

In summary, I guess you get to take your pick!

I really think Living Dead would commercially slay as a single.

one of my fave songs. but i'm hoping she pulls a super bass and releases lonely hearts club.

If this happened I would die. All of my friends who have heard the album agree that LHC is the standout track.
