I'm just talking bout what I'm seein', Blueberry Kisses ask me if they can sing and I showed him(?) what I see after 3 years cheering for them and won't be you who'll change it now, not knowing ANYTHING bout them. 3 of them CAN sing and I admited that Hara and Jiyoung are a mess tho. I know Kara very well, I really love them, but they have absolutely terrible vocal technique, and yes I know more than you on this subject cause I study vocal technique and vocal anatomy.
So I can tell you that Seungyeon exhales too much air, with no support on her middle range thus constricting her vocal cords. And she seems to have an ok musicality, not good enough to make up for her flaws on a vocal point of view.
BUT, to be honest, she can sing, she's just not that good.
I'm not hating at all cause I really love Kara, I'm just stating facts.

LIKE I SAID BEFORE, I know Kara is not even next to girls like Taetiseo, and I'm pretty sure almost 80% of the kpop girls fits to everything you said above, not only Kara. Every girlgroup has a maximum of 2 TRUE vocals and everybody knows... not too much on them please
You know sis, except for Taeyeon, no one in SNSD is a really good singer too.

Seohyun vocals ***** hard and it's not you or any other member here that will try to come for my flawless queen.
She's the definitely the 2nd best, but she's not a "really good singer", she's good, but she struggles with her higher notes a lot, I remember her cracking several times when she sang the "MAH BOOOOOOOOOOIIIIII" part in The Boys.
Amazing singers in kpop would be Hyorin, Jea, Taeyeon, Taeyeon (of She'z), Luna, Jooyi, Minkyung, ...
Very good singers would be CL, Minzy, Bom, Sunye, Yeeun, Riko, Narsha, Ga In, Jube, Melanie, BoA (of SPICA) and the other main vocalist, ...
The rest of SNSD is good, Jessica is good (when she doesn't try to sing with too much power, then she strains), Sunny is good (as long as she stays in her comfort zone), Tiffany is ... Weird, she has a TERRIBLE vocal technique (she had nodules during the Genie era because of that btw) but she's still kinda good.
