I took (edexcel) GCSE French reading today, anyone else find it hard as ****? The listening on Monday was easy.

Also took maths C1 yesterday, thought it went pretty well except I drew the quadratic graph the wrong way up (wil have lost me 1 or 2 marks) and I didn't answer the weird quadrilateral question - I sat there for ages trying to see a simple way to do it (since it was only worth three marks I thought they couldn't be asking for much) eventually I decided it would be a better use of time to look back on the rest of the paper and catch any mistakes (and there were some - I forgot to add +C to an integral )

How did other people taking these exams find them? And what else did you take?

Biology on Monday luckily have enough UMS from the first two units and the ISA that I only need a B in this last one and I'll get an A* over all

i have my last Foundation Degree tomorrow if that counts to Americans have GCSE's?

No, GCSEs and A-levels are British, although some foreign schools do take them I think.

I m having my finals on Monday , the hardest exams of the Greek educational system , one of the hardest and most competitive systems wordwide , if that counts.

I took the French GCSE today, it was so hard! The last question

Oh wait our school does a different exam board for french. I think our exam board is CCEA,

Our last quesiton was about a girl who won in a TV show called ' Star Academy ' it was ridiculous, we had to talk about driving lessons

But yeah our exam board is different for french, we use CCEA but our sciences, maths, english, history and geography is AQA

They should really standardize the whole thing and have one exam board for the whole thing, it would make it all much easier. And ours was about god knows what, I couldn't even work out what the context was some guy who is now a Judo player talking about his past, or something like that

I know right? Then we could all be like " what did you get for this " etc

We had to talk about Sun-Bags for 70+ Year old tourists, I think the exam maker's are running out of scenarios if they have to use ones like that

I am doing A -levels. My exams don't start until June.

I'm in the US. We don't have those

I took my A2s last year but changed my mind about my uni course and to fill a year went back to do 2 full A levels in 1 year, I did my AS in January and I'm in the middle of my A2s.

My last English lit exam was yesterday so I just have Sociology now.
It'll leave me with 5 A levels in total, not too shabby to be honest.

GCSEs though! Yall are so young, I would kill to do those again instead of A levels, easy as piss. I didn't revise at all and came out with 10 As and a B.

Biology - EdExcel
Chemistry - OCR (Salters)
English Literature - AQA
Geography - OCR

Had a biology resit on Monday in the hopes of getting better than an E
Chemistry resit was also Tuesday but less desperate (got a C first time)
English Literature (worst subject ever) was done yesterday and I'm finished with that
Geography is next Thursday and the following Tuesday

The Bio and Chem resits were terrible though
And I'm dreading F332 and Unit 2 on Monday + Wednesday!

EDIT: Oh, and EdExcel biology is the biggest pile of **** ever!
