No, I don't believe this ****. But let's all get our facts straight here.
1) The Mayan calender isn't "wrong" because it "didn't account for leap years" or some ****. It's actually more accurate than ours, that's why we need to have leap years on our calendar - ours builds up 24 hours of extra time over four years so we stick another day in to catch up.
2) They never, ever said the world would end in 2012. The calender shows it being the end of a significant cycle in the Mayan religion, after which they believed the world would be metaphorically reborn as a new world - that does not mean they literally thought we were all going to die. For them, the date would have simply markeed a change in behavior of their culture, a new beginnin.
