The 36-year-old funnyman — who decided to unfollow his ex, 27, on Twitter this past week– confessed, “I still love [Katy] as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.”

Russell couldn’t help but gush over his ex, adding of Katy:

“I was very happy to be married with her. She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her.”

Most people who divorce still actually love each other, however they are just no longer in love with them. Things just don't work out sometimes.

Once you started to love a person, you'll never stop loving him/her.

Maybe you can love him/her little less when you go apart someday but that doesn't mean that you'll stop loving that person.
