Yes she does. And for the people saying that this is a music site and thus she doesn't get that much respect, I am sorry but how is J-Lo musically inferior compared to a lot of the other girls touted here? I mean, really, this is a POP music site - not Pitchfork.

She may not have had that much of an influence on music, but that's because she's done so many other things that she never had a chance to focus one thing. I don't think it's fair to compare her to people who just sing.

Her music career from 99 to 05 is flawless. Things did begin to go down hill with Rebirth, but let's not forget that album only had two singles. Then Brave came, and she became pregnant. Then she took a career break, relaunching her star in 2011 on Idol.

I feel that though J.Lo was never particularly brilliant at anything she attempted, the fact that she did so much changed the mold for female entertainers. She deserves more credit -- not for her product, but for the way she changed the industry.
