The newest female performer on Atlantic Records who currently has a song called “Hit Me Up” which is featured in the movie, “Happy Feet.” I’m pretty sure you heard of it because it’s being played during the commercials. She’s 17 years old from New York and you should all check her out if you like tunes with danceable beats and irresistible pop hooks!
Gia Farrell's right up my alley. My favorite song up there is "Hit Me Up." It's not often that I hear that kind of energy in pop music. Her other two songs are good as well. By good, I mean better than the kind of pop music I hear from big names like Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, and Ciara. I know that Christina Aguilera and Beyonce have talent, but that doesn't mean I have to like their music just because they can sing very well. There are other factors that determine how much I like a piece of music besides vocal talent, such as the arrangement of the instrumentation (guitars, drums, pianos, synths, strings, woodwinds, etc.)
