L.A. and Simon can't sing either, but the show just isn't about vocals. They have American Idol for that. The X Factor is about finding a performer who has the overall package to make it in the music industry. Britney has had such a long-lasting career, and she's been incredibly successful from it. I think she'd know what it takes. Demi has had a lot of experience from a young age. She will bring a younger perspective and voice to the show, since she's very much in touch with super-stardom today.

That's not the point I was making. What's sad is that someone can come for Britney's performance skills and y'all will bring up her album sales from 2000, or her performances from the ABC special in 2004.
The clear picture is that y'all are living in the past, which is tragic.
Except the sales from her recent albums are included in that too.
And people chose those performances because they're iconic. No one is living in the past. Britney fans are very realistic (and always have been) when it comes to her talents. Unfortunately there are those who feel because their fave is more acclaimed or because they're currently experiencing major success that it entitles them to pass judgement on a girl who by all accounts shouldn't have lasted past her second album.
The Christina stans always jump into anything that has to do with bringing Britney down. They're like hyenas fighting over a piece of meat. SIS I CANT.
