Madonna sold over a quarter million tickets in Latin America

The three Madonna shows in the country are seven months ahead, but tickets are close to sold out already. According to producer Time For Fun quoted by local media outlet Globo, more than 100,000 seats have been sold for the performances in Rio's Parque dos Atletas (December 1), in Sao Paulo's Morumbi Stadium (December 4), and Porto Alegre's Olympic Stadium (December 9).
Brazilian tickets are among the most expensive of the entire MDNA Tour, as they will be spanning from R$85,00 to R$850,00 (US$47,00 to US$470,00).

In early May, Live Nation and Time For Fun producers confirmed the Argentinian part of MDNA Tour that will bring Madonna back to the country after the successful "Sticky & Sweet Tour" in 2008. Not only Buenos Aires will be part of the tour schedule but also the city of Cordoba.
The tour includes stadiums and outdoor venues. It'll begin in May 31 in Tel Aviv and it will pass through 26 European cities before North America in August. After Mexico and South America shows, Madonna will visit Australia after 20 years of absence.
