Almost the same situation with me. From the first audition I was like yeah no one's beating this bitch. I remember being all over the Idol forums slamming people left and right when they'd call her robotic (in hindsight though, she was SO robotic on Idol compared to now).. I remember having Carrie "away messages" on AIM freaking out about her performances and pissing off my friends, lol. Then downloading (illegally, because that was the only way) her epic performance of Alone...and MacArthur Park (****ing loved it even though most didn't).. and SCREAMING around my living room when she won.
Such a fruit.
Then I used Some Hearts til the CD was basically smoking.. lost some interest before Carnival Ride for various reasons... stanned for half of Carnival Ride... then lost a little more interest... and then Play Yawn came out and
She lost me.
But I'm halfway back now.
I'm a flop stan though. Didn't stick with her through the hits and the flops.
I wish I knew about American Idol back then.
I think she is also spending another week at #1 there.
