NBC’s push to launch part of its fall lineup early to take advantage of the August coverage of the Olympics will be anchored by the first fall cycle of The Voice. At today’s upfront presentation, NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt announced that the third season of The Voice will premiere on Sept. 9. Better Judges? I doubt Demi and Britney are going to offer anything different to what Nicole and Paula gave.

They will offer better ratings and demographic and crediblity to the judging panel. Well mostly Britney; not so much Demi but Demi will bring in the young demographic.
