It's still a huge drop, which means that at the very least a large part of her "loyal" fan base deserted her. Which contradicts with the part about them being loyal. Hence my point. Unless you believe that with TBDT there were just 900K or so dedicated fans and the remaining 5-6 million copies sold were solely due to "Girlfriend".
