Well it seems that after lots of speculation Girls Aloud have decided to bite the bullet and record together once more. Kind of.
The group’s production and songwriting team Xenomania took to Twitter yesterday evening to reveal that Kimberley, Nicola and Sarah have been in the recording studio this week.
Nadine, who is rumoured to have fallen out with the gang, is set to be recording with them again soon.
Xenomania tweeted: "Prepping to go in the studio with @NadineCoyleNOW for new GA sessions... New GA sessions with @NicolaRoberts @KimberleyJWalsh @SarahNicHarding in the studio over the last week."
Hang on a sec, they seem to have forgotten about Cheryl Cole. There is no suggestion she recorded with the girls last week or will be doing so in the future.
At the moment Cheryl is in the US with her mum. So could this mean that the group will go ahead without Chezza?
Girls Aloud reportedly had a secret meeting last month to organise a comeback tour, which is thought to be taking place in 2013 to coincide with their tenth anniversary.
The girls are also rumoured to be doing this year’s official Children In Need song, so perhaps that’s why they were back in the studio and they aren’t planning a comeback after all.
We’ll just have to hold tight and wait and see, won’t we? Anyway do you lot want them to record together again or do you prefer Cheryl and Nicola as solo artists?
