I'm gay and well, I'm technically an only child but I have a half brother and four half sisters and they are all in the late 20s and early 30s. The family name has already been passed down through them.
I'm not sure if I'd want to pass my genes on down anyways. The whole Asperger/AD HD thing seems to be inherited and I'm not sure how i'd be able to handle my kid having that. I want my blue eyes to be passed down somehow, but Aspergers/Autism...well...I already deal with it myself I don't want to deal with it again.
Actually I probably can, but it would just be a lot of work.
That's kind of how it is for my second cousins. One is transgender and another is gay. But their sister is straight and married, but doesn't have any kids. I don't think it's a big deal, really.
They are just gay. No big deal
