No it's not. This was reported a loooooong time ago. (Like, back when we were ATRL, omg lolz.) I don't think the official announcement came until very recently though, which is why it's resurging.

How is Nelly a sell out? Only a couple songs on Loose would classify as upbeat R&B-ish songs. The rest are simply amazing POP songs.

I'm not sure what sell out means anymore. It's used so loosely these days (no pun intended).
Personally I think as an artist, you should be allowed to do what you are happy with. I think it's great she went a new direction with her music.

She's never really had a style, Nelly, so we can't say that she's the same EVERY single time. She's just changing the style on each album, and each album is great, so you can't complain.

I don't care which label she's on, just as long as she is signed and is making music.
