I've played violin and piano for over 10 years and I barely ever practiced. My mother always told me that it was a beautiful thing to have a musical talent and just pull out an instrument and start playing. I've kicked myself so many times for not practicing my piano especially. I could just imagine how good I would have been had I really did. I hate when my parents are right.

I took piano lessons for 10 years. I'm not a particularly gifted player, but I guess I could describe myself as somewhat capable. Never practiced as much as I should have.

$70 a month doesn't surprise tbh. Singing lessons everywhere are pretty expensive.
