The fact you can't help but troll in every Gaga-related thread is almost scary... The same can be said for (some) Madonna stans before 1983 or for Britney stans before 1998 and only shows that a very limited number of artist have the power to get a LOT of people caring about something they never got into.
Personally, it was Madonna who first made the pop music world/pop culture interesting to me, but then Gaga came and took it to a whole higher level.

If you actually read the comments you'd see that Gaga encouraged them to explore pop culture and appreciate artists such as David Bowie, Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna. There's nothing ignorant about that.

I used to hate everything pop-related (minus 80's pop music) until she came out
I was one of those who think that pop music is inferior to rock, indie, metal, ...
I still prefer those genres, but Gaga made me appreciate pop music. I didn't know that nowadays pop singers could be that talented.
