I'd rather live in a ghetto city with all the drugs, crimes, prostitution, etc... than live in the suburbs. It's much more colorful and alive. I would be constantly entertained.
I'll admit, Hip-Hop has made me infatuated with street culture. I've always kinda wished I could've said I grew up in a rough neighborhood. Nobody really gets interested when you tell them about your boring, upper-class pre-dominantley elderlyJewish community.
I love the hood...just not EVERYDAY. Sometimes I like to take a break and mingle with the Sarah's, Tom's, and Billy's. The only downside is the gun shots. I got use to em though. I don't even duck no more.
