I've tried a variety of Linux based environments. I am currently using Linux Mint and I find it to be the most user-friendly. It's actually not much different than Windows until you dig a little deeper.

Mint is based on Ubuntu, although I used Ubuntu just because of Wubi since I don't actually how to dual boot lol
