Amerie needs to fall the f*** back dissing Beyonce.
Obviously, SOMEONE is bitter that they're never gonna have more than 1 hit single.....
From Toya's World:
Amerie Slams Beyonce on New Mixtape Track

Two weeks before Beyonce's new album B'Day dropped, I stated how Sugar Mama and Green Light sounded like Amerie songs especially that Green Light track in which Amerie's former producer Rich Harrison took Amerie's vocal style and interjected it onto Beyonce. My exact words were that she had copied Amerie's swagger. Many of my visitors agreed. Long term visitors of my blog would remember this. At the time it wasn't looking good for Beyonce who was accused of being a serial jacker when she straight jacked Janet Jackson's dance moves (although it was reported to be a Janet tribute because of MTV's boycotting) as well as the copying of Britney's costume for her VMA performance back in August 2006. Well, on one of Amerie's mixtape tracks Because I Love It (the intro), she slams Beyonce for jacking her sound and vocal style. This is the VERY reason why Amerie opted NOT to work with Rich Harrison on her upcoming third album None of The Above because she felt that he was giving her sound to everybody else and ever since he got mainstream recognition for Beyonce's Crazy In Love, he got promoted creating beats for Jennifer Lopez and Toni Braxton. In the track she says:
Six months, and yall done checked my style
Thinkin I was M.I.A., that's wishful thinking child.
It's obvious to see,
Chickens try to bite it,
But they can't cop my delivery.
My style, my aggression on the track,
When yall chicks know yall wasn't singing like that, Yeah!
So let me break it down for ya,
To the ground for ya,
Go and chase that track.
Pay a hundred stack,
But you can't buy my sound,
Can't take my flow,
Can't bag my swag,

Alright; now I love me some second-rate Bee with black hair (Amerie) but seriously, what in the deep pits of hell makes her think she has Richard Harrison wrapped around her finger? Last time I checked, Richard Harrison produced Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" BEFORE "1 Thing", so if ANYTHING, shouldn't Amerie be thankful that Beyonce hade Amerie's so called "signature sound" sucessful? Amerie needs a reality check because as of late, I ain't been feeling her attitude, first she knocks my woman LeToya when she calls in on Showtime At The Apollo, says Kelis ain't the first girl to yell on the track, and know with the Bee diss? Someone's ego is spiraling outta control
Also, her new mixtape is a hot ass mess.

I loved Amerie but I'm not too sure about this either. Yeah she did work with Rich Harrison first with "Why Don't We Fall In Love" but it wasn't that huge, and she can't expect him to just stay with her. Sorry love, but if you're on to a winning formula, you gotta make that money. It's not Amerie's sound, it's Richcraft baby! Amerie: step back and think before you diss... and grow an ass while you're at it!!!

Arith, oh Arith.
Together, Rich & Amerie crafted that "signature sound" on Amerie's debut back in '02. In fact, both Amerie & Rich Harrison have known each other VERY well since '99. They have an on and off again relationship. Besides, it's just for a mixtape which she's trying to seem "hard" on. That's all, really.

I think it sounds betta on Amerie plus Beyonce` ruins it with her yelling plus "1 Thing" was big hit of 05'. But Amerie "Take Control" is fiyah but I heard the XM Radio's Sexy Chocolate say "It sounds like Beyonce" but actually Beyonce` sounds like her or trying. please Beyonce needs to fall back it's not working out with yelling
P.S.- S still luv her first album & irreplaceable just not Deja Vu

Yup and the bitch still rocks harder than Beyonce!! Yuppers.
Hahaha jk. No but i heard it wasnt B! she was dissin'. She will probably come out on an interview saying it wasn't B! It will come out. But even if it was i like AMERIE way better she is way underated. This is coming from someone who owns Dangerously In Love and B-Day.
If i remember correctly Amerie's ALL I HAVE was released in 2002. Beyonce's DANGEROUSLY IN LOVE in 2003. So how is she a Beyonce clone? Her music sounds the same as it did in 2002. The only way we can compare them is by the Rich production.

First off, Amerie and Rich Harrison worked together before he and Beyonce even met up.
Secondly, Amerie's single "Why Don't We Fall In Love" was the song that got Rich's work noticed by the industry. No, it wasn't the hit he would later find with Beyonce in "Crazy IN Love" however without that first push out the gate, Beyonce wouldn't have even known about his production style, and much less had a good example to go on without Amerie first showcasing her own vocal abilities on the track.
Amerie was the mold, the first draft . . . for what would later be given to Beyonce, J.Lo, Toni Braxton, and whoever else can afford him now.
Rich isn't all that anyway, I mean who couldn't take an old song, resample it and add tons of drum and bass? Insert random yelling female for a possible hit. yeah, smart formula for the time, but gets old fast.

Yall are so damn stupid, I swear.
the whole thing is about go-go. Amerie had no go-go on her debut. Beyonce came out with CIL then came 1 Thing. B ain't copy no Amerie. Plus Rich didn't even create the go-go sound, he just used elements of it combined it with a sample and bam HIT. So all of yall and Amerie need to fall the fcuk back.
Amerie isn't attackin Beyonce anyways. But people will of course make it that way just to down Beyonce.

If she has anything against Beyonce ,then why did she perform her "one thing" followed by Destiny's Child Tribute during the world music awards ,singing Beyonce's verses ? hmmmm. This sounds like a ******** to me.
And I don't get how Amerie > Beyonce ,for those who claim that, In which land? TELL ME.

^In todays land, duh.
I call bullcrap on this. First of all Toya needs to shut the hell up and get her facts straight as Green Light is a Neptunes not Rich Harrison production. Toya used to be good but now her head is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooo far up her own ass. If this is at all true: noone can deny that Green Light does have that GoOoOOo thing that Amerie does, but since when was there a copyright on a certain vocal style? And like other people have said what makes Amerie think that Rich Harrison is available only to her? Crazy In Love is a lot better than anything than what Rich did with Amerie.
And just for the record: Beyonce > Amerie.

Now now, is that necessary?
Both artists have their strong points, but as much as you all want to love Beyonce you have to realize she (like so many of the female artists out right now) isn't original. People must come to terms with the fact that very little in the music industry of today hasn't been done already.
It would be nice to have a new Michael, a new Janet, a new Diana . . . but the fact of the matter is people borrow from one another's styles. So which came first . . . the Beyonce or the Amerie (the chicken or the egg) could be a pointless argument.
Yes Amerie had the style first, but Beyonce made it breakout. That is pretty much all that can be said about everything. Whether someone is better or worse is purely opinion.

LMAO, this is why Beyonce is unappealing to me. I really do like her music, but her fans make her unappealing. As someone mentioned before, it obviously was directed towards Beyonce, as Amerie respects her, through that tribute. IMO, Amerie is just better looking and just as good a singer, with less "yelling" as people have described it. "Crazy In Love" wasn't exactly the most amazing song. Everyone here can admit that that song was popular for the name Beyonce stuck on it, along with Jay-Z. I'm sure if Beyonce was the one who had gone with "1 Thing," the same people would be pushing "1 Thing." Both are good, but Amerie>Beyonce>>>LeToya
