I mean Come Back To Me is getting a good amount of airplay, it just entered the top 40 on the mediabase charts but it still only peaked at #79 on the Hot 100 and is currently at #84. The album, V debuted at #24 on the Billboard 200 with 34,000 copies and now has currently sold 84,000+ copies so its keeping a steady pace. And it has now been confirmed that Let Go will be the 2nd single and I'm dissapointed because releasing Say Ok would have really saved the album. So the question is will this album at least go gold?

well, she is a new artist and I think she still has a chance to do better on charts and keep increasing the album selling........In my opinion "let's dance" would've been a better second single, more catchy, popish, Etc. "Let' go" and "Say ok" are great songs too, but are more soft and slow wich is not what she need now, she needs a hit....a rithmycal (sp?) song.

hmm...I can't exactly say she is a flop, cuz she's done better than I would have ever expected. The problem is that she hasn't chosen a side. Let's recap. Her rabid fans have voted "Come Back To Me" as far as #03 on TRL and have kept her steady on in the Top 15. The song has peaked @ #79 on Billboards and her album has sold about 85,000 copies. Realistically, it's still early and could pick up, but she needs to do one thing. Either stay completely with the Disney Channel, such as Raven and possibly ride off the success of High School Musical (they did sell over 3 million after all) OR breakaway completely, such as Hilary Duff and work on selling her records to a more mature crowd. IMO, she's trying to both right now and it isn't working. = (

The single is already a top 40 hit on the pop charts. I'm sure it'll be in the top 30 in no time and once it's there, i'm sure album sells will pick up.

Anyway, I think she'll end up selling around 500k. If they want to go anywhere near that number they should release Say OK asap.

And I think the album wont even get "Gold", but I'm too "loving" this album to say that.

I hope she'll release "LOSE YOUR LOVE"! This song will save her album and get her to mainstream RnB. "Lose Your Love" sounds like Cassie's "ME & U" and this song will definitely graduate her from her Disney image which is a factor why she's flopping!

Lose Your Love is definitley a nice song. But Say OK would be much better.

If I remember correctly, Vannessa Anne is on the same label as Hilary Duff, They give Hilary 0 radio promo so why would they give Vannessa some? I mean Hollywood records just SUCKS! Vanessa has talent they shouldn't treat her like this, Personally I love "When There Was Me & U" from the HS Musical soundtrack, I know it wouldn't do well on pop, But I think that is the best song. I never got into "Come Back To Me" that much, I like it and its okay. I didn't figure it would do this good, I'm happy that she is getting somewhat noticed.
