I'd rather her do electronic music, to be honest. Stuff like the above clip could be created at any time during the last 10-15 years.... sort of like all the merengue singles she is releasing. They're good, but not particularly inventive.
I would like her to be more forward thinking. I don't really like it when it seems like Shakira is making intentional efforts to fulfill stereotypes of a what a Latin American artist should be like (ex: repeatedly releasing merengue songs). Hopefully this song does not end up on the album.
I don't think thats the final product. Its stripped down and earthy..i hope those instruments are complimented with some sexy dance backdrops.
the beat is JUST A BEAT...already been used for thousands of songs...including whenever/wherever
its nothing what we have right now....anyway these guys are submitting the music to her... i believe...so nothing official....Shakira hardly accepts demo songs....and if she does, she changes it all (hips dont lie)
