smashed on country and it's her ONLY single to do well on Pop. So, with Carrie, it's the opposite of saturation. Pop radio wants Carrie music to play but they don't have any current smashes for her, so the play a 5 year old song (it's radioplay is still pretty massive to this day). and because of that, it continues selling little by little. It didn't reach 3 million until about 2009 and since then has sold about 500k.
So in a few more weeks it might hit 1.5M
