There are plenty of ways to 'cheat' a non-stop continuous take. Esp. if the screen is dark its hard to tell where one shot ends and the other begins.

Because a one-take 88 minute movie, is pretty difficult to accomplish successfully, unless the entire cast and crew is extremely patient, and willing to re-start the ENTIRE shot if one person messes up.

So if this is a one take film, does that mean it starts off with just a one night session?

It starts off in the day light right? Then by the end of the film (trailer) it's dark out. But the movie is only 88 minutes

I doubt it's a one take shot film. I doubt the movie plot consists of entering this house right before the sun goes down and then 30 minutes later it's dark and they are already being haunted.

One take would be incredibly challenging. Everyone has to be on their marks. I'd be more worried about some technical problem or wrong camera move then the actress messing up.

I might see this after all.

Why doubt that when that's the most probable way of doing? If you don't want to believe it then so be it, but be a bit logical. And the concept isn't hard to grasp, since it's only 88 minutes, of course the terror would begin somewhat instantly.

Saw it tonight. It takes a while (and I mean a ****ing while) to get into it and for anything to start getting good, but the ending is quite strange and I still don't understand any of it.

The movie was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good & it's not one shot, it's just a simulated one shot.

It really does remind me of The Strangers, which is not bad. That is one of the most terrifying movies i've seen. Is this a ghost film or a killer's film? I don't wanna know who the killer is or anything major i just wanna know if it's gonna be realistic.

The trailer looks amazing. The whole one-single-take shoot intrigues me and the girl's acting looks on point.

As a horror fan i'm very excited to see this. Does anyone have a link to see the original film?
