This should help with UK promo, but she better not delay that 3rd album!

Her 3rd album will not be released before 2013, and X Factor is ending on December 2012, so she will have a lot of time to do it...

I don't know what to think. I want her to do it, but I kind of don't. Great promo here, and I'll get to see her on my TV every week but I also want her to be taking a break, and getting back in the studio.

The X Factor May/June Schedule:

18th - Newcastle
25th - Cardiff

All seems pretty doable apart from the 18th, she'll almost definitely still be in Canada when she'd have to be in Newcastle... Suppose she could miss that one? Wouldn't be the first time a judge hasn't been at an audition.

Didn't she say not long ago that she was planning on releasing her new album before the end of 2012? I remember it being said that the TD-rerelease was early this year and she'd have a new album towards the end of 2012. It could be great promo to debut the lead single on the show. However, this sounds like it would come into conflict with her touring.

Hmm, being an xFactor judge in the UK is great promo. The whole nation talks about it and it's probably the most watched joint show. Everyone tunes in every week.

IT gave Kelly massive promo and got her leg into the UK market further, but she didn't follow up with this, sure she released an album but only released like one song and didn't even tour. Her team did not strike while her iron was hot but they are notorious for that.

Judging on the xFactor is hard work, she'll be in the newspaper every week if not everyday and she'll be required to be with her acts day in day out. Is she in a position to judge and coach? idk. She makes amazing videos and good singles, but as a performer/vocalist she's terrible, point blank.

She should stay in the US, I doubt the UK will grow to her. #justsaying

Katy's already massive in the UK though, She got 5 Top 10 singles from a Million Selling album (prior to Part of Me/Complete Confection) and One of the Boys is around 2x Platinum, so it's not like the UK need to "Grow to her".

I swear she said her new album was going to be released late 2012, but she didn't think she had time to finish it in that time so she re-released TD instead?
