Judging from the tweets, this is just a demo that they're submitting to Shakira's team. she hasn't recorded it or anything and its not coming out this week

Meh. It doesn't sound fresh or relevant.

I'd rather her do electronic music, to be honest. Stuff like the above clip could be created at any time during the last 10-15 years.... sort of like all the merengue singles she is releasing. They're good, but not particularly inventive.

I would like her to be more forward thinking. I don't really like it when it seems like Shakira is making intentional efforts to fulfill stereotypes of a what a Latin American artist should be like (ex: repeatedly releasing merengue songs). Hopefully this song does not end up on the album.
