Well It took Hollywood waited two albums until they finally released a demi single with an adds date. Selena had a four month gap between a release for her third video and the adds date for that single. They ****ed up Miley's Cant be tamed era and they didnt release a second single. They wait for more than half a year to release a second single from demi off of unbroken... I can go on and on...
You will not come at Mariah's and Rihanna's record label just because they rejected your fave.

Mismanaged,singles AND albums.Also,the promo can be kind of ****ed up for their artists.(Not saying Interscope was innocent from this but Def Jam has the most notoriety for this IMO.)

Columbia was a bitch to Mariah after she divorced Tommy Mottola. The Butterfly and Rainbow eras were messes.
For Butterfly, they released one official single in Fall 1997, released a bunch of radio-only, select territory-only, and promo singles that received no official promo. Then a few months later the second and last "official" single.
It was even worse for the Rainbow era. The first two singles only received promo. Every other single was radio-only, with no promo whatsoever.
Not the mention they stole Mariah's idea of using a sample for a song.

Hollywood Records ... they just support artists when they're at their peak (not thanks to the label for sure) after that they just forget about them and artists' only option is to leave.
Hollywood Records - They've made their artists pay for their own music videos, they rarely promote their artists, bad single choices.
RCA - Delay all their artists music, minimum to no promotion, single choices are terrible, they usually add songs to radio months late, every artist from there is sabotaged, they forced Xtina to do techno-esque music, etc.
There are actually no words to describe how bad they are. At least with most of their artists.
