It's obviously true (that kids are starting to like more mature music), but kind of inevitable. When I was a kid, if my parents refused for me to listen to a song / genre I liked, I'd still find a way to gain access to it. As will all other kids.
On another note: I saw my 6 year old cousin singing "come and put ya name on it, ya name on it. It's not even my birthday." And it completely ruined the song for me.
I spent an hour trying to explain it's not appropriate to sing that song at her age but she kept asking me why and I didn't wanna dig myself a deeper hole.
