For sure she represents both! It's great, and I'm sure she is proud of her background. But she is technically a UK citizen, I thought she confirmed that? Although she has a passport for the Republic of Kosovo too?
Either way, it was originally disputed that she was
from the United Kingdom as an artist. And her music is certainly of British origin, having been raised there and collaborated with British artists.

Ethnicity, birthplace, origin etc. are different from a person's nationality.
It wasn't claimed that Rita doesn't associate herself with Kosovo.
