now I even know she's been trying to make it big for some years. She's had at least 3 previous incarnations. Interesting how her fans switch between "she's been performing since she was 18" and "she's new to performing" depending on what point theyre trying to win. Sorry, you can't have it both ways. She's performed plenty over the years in various bars,hotels and clubs. Some are just not born performers and she looks like one of them. She looks awkward and uncomfortable.

I have no investment in Lana del Rey, so I'm actually baffled that you continue to associate me with her fan base. I'm just making statements based on my observations of her.

I think there is a huge difference between playing in a bar and playing on Saturday Night Live with a performance that will be broadcast throughout the United States and will be available for viewing and critiquing throughout the world. Maybe you would recognize that too if you did not have such an embittered disposition towards Lana. I feel as if she has deeply offended you somehow.

I don't really get everyone's obsession with US,especially when it comes to an artist like Lana.I've stopped caring much long time ago.If she was doing some generic,dance music made for radio I would probably be like,why she isn't smashing or why radio isn't playing her yet.But you see,her music isn't really Top radio material.She can always get surprise smash but nothing's guaranteed.

When's she's selling 2 million albums without US,it's not really big deal.There's always next album.Even if they don't accept her,it's not the end of world,gosh.

and there are tons of TV talent shows where TRUE newbies get up and look like proper performers from the getgo on HUGE TV shows watched by millions. So all this "she's new to TV performing" doesn't really wash. A true performer can get up and perform anytime, any place, anywhere.
