The Bishopbriggs belter has kept a low profile for the last 18 months — keeping well out of the limelight.
But yesterday she confirmed that her third album is done and dusted. She has named it Life In A Beautiful Light and it will be released on June 11.
And it should keep Amy’s success going — so far she’s shifted over four million copies worldwide of debut album This Is The Life and 2010’s A Curious Thing. On this one, she is still working with right hand man and manager PETE WILKINSON. Fans won’t have to wait long to judge for themselves as the first single Slow It Down is being sent to radio stations today.
The official first play will be on ZOE BALL’s morning show on Radio 2.
The artwork for the song sees Amy, 24, standing in a smart blazer, next to deserted railway tracks.
She is already signed up for a load of big festivals across Europe this year, including a return to T In The Park in July.
I love Amy because my dad stans hard for her and so I gave her a listen and really liked her songs.
The new single is very nice too though it doesn't sound like a hit.

And do we know when this will be released?
Trust me she will get that top 10 in Germany and Switzerland.
There's no official release date, the album is going to be released on June 11.
