They mean more of a personality not being stuck up, more shading the people going around like they are better then everyone else because they have a good voice. They are saying good you have a good voice, but show your personality.

It's pretty blatant and obvious shade on ABC's part.

Every major competition came with the "We are better then the rest" or "We are different then the rest" kind of mentality. The producers are simply marketing their product. This has nothing to do with the mentors since they don't decide what the commercials are going to be

I guess you're right about the voice, but i still think it will struggle trying to compete with the other singing competitons.

I think we can start predicting that after the premiere and see how "different" it really is.
